Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions. It is director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions' first game after their separation from Konami in 2015. It is due to be released for PlayStation 4 by Sony Interactive Entertainment in November 2019 and for Microsoft Windows by 505 Games in 2020. game is a reference to the phenomenon of cetacean wires.

Death Stranding is set in an open world that also includes multiplayer functions. Kojima compared the genre to the way , previous game Metal Gear - now considered a stealth game - was called an action game during its release, because the stealth genre was not considered to exist at the time.

People created "Walls" and got used to living in isolation. Death Stranding is a completely new type of action game where the player's goal is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is designed so that all elements, including story and gameplay, are brought together by the theme of "Strand" or connection. Like Sam Porter Bridges, you will try to overcome societal divisions and create new ties or "strands" with other players around the world. With your experience in the game, I hope you understand the true importance of making connections with others.

Actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker and Lindsay Wagner provide motion capture, 3D scanning and vocal performances, while film directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn are also featured. .
