Daniel Radcliffe's meme movie finally has a trailer

We all remember the image of Daniel Radcliffe holding two guns while looking maniacal in the street. It turns out that the photo was the first glimpse of , movie “Guns Akimbo”, the image went viral and the internet soon turned it into a meme.

The movie directed by Jason Lei Howden is an action comedy that features Radcliffe, Samara Weaving Y Ned Dennehy as the protagonists located in a world a little more bizarre than the real one.

Delivery reminds certain elements of predecessors such as “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World ”, “Nerve” Y “The Purge ” , and video games like “Mortal Kombat”. All packaged in a bloody comedy and full of examples about the misuse of the technology we have available.

The synopsis of the film reveals more details:

“A video game developer, Miles (Daniel Radcliffe), is very attached to causing discussions on the internet with , troll comments. One night, , makes the mistake of ranting in the transmission of Skizm, an illegal death-fighting club that is broadcast live to the public. In response, Riktor (Ned Dennehy), the maniac who turns out to be the mastermind behind the channel, decides to force Miles's hand and add to the “fun.” Miles wakes up with , hands screwed to guns and discovers that Nix (Samara Weaving), the violent and undisputed champion Skizm, is , first opponent. ”

The film has taken a while to arrive and was also premiered for the first time at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9 last year, but only four later we can see the fruits of the production.
